Owalo launches Jitume labs in Homa Bay, Migori counties

Through the lab, Mawego TTI received 100 computers and digital connectivity.

ICT and Digital Economy CS Eliud Owalo has launched Jitume digital laboratory at Mawego Technical Institute in Karachuonyo Constituency, Homa Bay County. 

Through the lab, the institute has been equipped with 100 computers, digital connectivity, and free digital skills training.

Owalo was hosted at the event by the school's principal John Abuto, Board chairperson Alex Kazungu, and Rachuonyo East DCC Aron Koros.

Also present was ICT PS John Tanui, who is also the CEO for Konza Technopolis Development Authority(KoTDA).

The CS also launched another Jitume Digital Lab at Rongo University in Migori County. 

"For the second time in a day, I have had the pleasure to launch another JITUME Digital Laboratory; this time at Rongo University, in Migori County," he tweeted on Friday.
