It was solemn and sombre at Kisii Teaching and Referral Hospital morgue as family members of ex-Treasury staffer Tom Osinde viewed the body.

The body of Osinde, the brother to the late Chief of Staff at the office of Deputy President Ken Osinde, was fished out of River Kuja in Kamagambo, Migori.

The family who included one of his sons, were present at the morgue.

They did not want to talk to journalists.

"It was collectively agreed that there is no media briefing," a family member told journalists outside the morgue.

Osinde went missing on June 18 before the body was found in the Kamagambo area, Rongo Sub-County, Migori County, on June 22.

A family member identified the body on Wednesday night, June 28 according toMigori Commander Peter Kimani.
