Christian Council of Korea President Young Hoon Lee has jetted into the country for a series of engagements with the Kenyan faithful and to spread the message of Hope.
The South Korean preacher on Monday, upon his arrival at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA), said that his mission is to officiate the Pastors Conference and lead a crusade ‘Prayer for Hope’ at the Jacaranda Grounds from Thursday.
Lee who began his pastoral ministry of Yoido Full Gospel Church in 1977, seeks to use the occasion at the crusade to sell a message of ‘Hope’ to Kenyans.
“I have come to sell the message of ‘Hope’ to the people of Kenya. I will preside over the Pastors conference at CITAM Valley road before having a major crusade,” said Lee upon his arrival.
The Christ is the Answer Ministries (CITAM) Pastors' Conference brings together more than 3,000 pastors spread across the country under the banner of the Evangelical Alliance of Kenya (EAK).
The conference will begin Tuesday and will feature among other clerics Mark Kariuki the presiding Bishop of Deliverance Church, Archbishop Arthur Kitonga of the Redeemed Gospel Church, Bishop Philip Kitoto of Kenya Assemblies of God (KAG), Bishop Abraham Mulwa of the African Inland Church (AIC) and Bishop David Macharia of Full Gospel Churches of Kenya (FGCK).
Others include Apostle John Kimani of Kingdom Seekers Fellowship, Bishop JB Masinde of the Deliverance Church and Bishop Stephen Gachengo of the Harvesters Christian Church.
