President William Ruto on Tuesday presided over the swearing-in of two Principal Secretaries at State House.
The two, Salome Wairimu Muhia-Beacco and Anne Njoki Wang'ombe, were nominated to the positions last month.
Muhia-Beacco was nominated as the Principal Secretary for Correctional Services in the Ministry of Interior following the resignation of Esther Ngero on May 23, 2023.
Muhia has been an advocate of the High Court for the last 26 years.
Njoki Wang'ombe was nominated to the Principal Secretary for Performance Management and Delivery Services in the Office of the Prime Cabinet Secretary.
Wang’ombe is a human resource practitioner and an educationist with experience spanning three decades.
Their nominations had been transmitted to the National Assembly for consideration by Parliament.
Those present at the swearing in event include Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi, Head of Public Service Felix Koskei, Majority Leader Kimani Ichung’wah, Solicitor General Shadrack Mose among other leaders.
