Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka on Thursday led Ukambani leaders in marking the Saba Saba protests against President William Ruto's regime.

Kalonzo said Kenyans were tired of what he termed oppression by the Kenya Kwanza government.

He launched a collection of signatures against President William Ruto's administration during the Saba Saba protests at Kathiani in Machakos County.

The Ukambani leader said the journey of protests against Kenya Kwanza's dictatorial had just begun.

"God has planned for this country, His will must come to pass," Kalonzo said.

Kalonzo said most Kenyans were suffering due to high costs of living due to inflation caused by the State.

"Badala ya watu wakae wazungumze, wanakalia wengine kimabavu. We can't do that in a democratic country," Kalonzo said.

He said the protests against Ruto's administration weren't Azimio affair, but Kenyans.

"A country is led by God and he is the one who shows us his ways. We have now decided to extend the protests to all parts of the country," Kalonzo said.

"Kenyans are saying we want our mountain, and our mountain is Kenya. I want the leaders in particular to ensure high discipline in this journey. We don't want to hear that anybody has been robbed even a coin during the protests," Kalonzo said.

Kalonzo said there should be no violence, robbery or theft during the national protests.

"Kalonzo isn't a violent person, and we must get there by God's grace. He is the giver of destiny," Kalonzo said.

He said their intention was to unite the country.

"Tumeanzisha hii safari tukijua ya kwamba nia yetu ni kuwa na Kenya moja. The Republic of Kenya," he said.

Kalonzo criticised Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua's earlier statement that the government is like a company likening those who voted for their administration to stakeholders.

"We have never had in a democracy that those who don't vote for you are literally segregated from any administration. That can't be a democracy and we are here to claim the democratic destination of this nation," Kalonzo said.

He blamed the Kenya Kwanza administration for the failed bipartisan talks.

Kalonzo criticised the government for what he termed conducting the process of coming up with new IEBC commissioners and its new chairman singlehandedly without involving the opposition.

He said the country was divided.

"Instead of agreeing to dialogue, they are continuing to hurt patriotic Kenyans.

Kalonzo claimed corruption had become official in Ruto's administration.

He said the government had got no faith in the bipartisan talks.

"They didn't show good faith, and in any negotiations, you need to demonstrate absolute good faith. I'm a professional negotiator and I know what I'm talking about," Kalonzo said.

"In the absence of absolute good faith, you cannot even begin. So, from the word go, Kenya Kwanza had no intention to sit on the negotiations table."
