Pokot South MP David Pkosing has now said he will be leading Azimio's signature collection drive in his county.

The Kenya Union Party (KUP) legislator told reporters in Kapenguria that he is currently doing mobilization in preparations for the campaign.

He also confirmed that he will be taking part in the planned anti-Ruto demonstrations.

"Kenyans are angry and dissatisfied with the promises made by the Kenya Kwanza government and I want to confirm that we shall be holding mega rallies here," he said.

Opposition leader Raila Odinga launched the campaign last Friday as part of the civil disobedience in an attempt to oust President William Ruto from office.

Pkosing also took on the Ruto administration for allegedly making false promises.

He claimed the government has failed to end insecurity in parts of Rift valley as promised.

The legislator who is part of Azimio's bipartisan committee panel said Kenyans are angry and dissatisfied with the promises made by the Kenya Kwanza government.

Raila said they target to collect 10 million by this week.

"I, Raila Amollo Odinga will start with a signature here today. You will also get the papers to sign so that by next week we have 10 million. The people have started the process of taking back the power given to others to represent them. We have to know how many we are and that is why we have started collecting signatures," he said.
