Police teargassed Westlands MP Tim Wanyonyi as he led Azimio protests in Nairobi on Wednesday morning.

The lawmaker and his supporters were dispersed by police in Kangemi, Nairobi as they started demonstrations against the high cost of living.

"We will not destroy anybody’s property; we will not be violent, we only want to demonstrate to show the government that Kenyans are tired," Wanyonyi said as he led the protests.
