Popular Kenyan social media influencer Bravin Yuri has sent a message to President William Ruto regarding the renewed civil disobedience against his government.
In the candid message delivered via a video posted on his social media handles, Yuri asked the President to listen to the voice of the people saying the countrywide protests are not about Azimio leader Raila Odinga.
"Dr Mr President, the nationwide protests and civil disobedience is not about Raila. Your enemy is not Raila," he said.
"I'm pretty sure you know your enemies and you just are too blind to see or you do not want to listen so that you can't hear who exactly is your enemy," he added.
Yuri, who describes himself in his Twitter profile as a Political Scientist and Sociologist said non of the opposition leaders in Raila's camp including Martha Karua and Kalonzo Musyoka are his true enemies as the President perceives them to be, but rather, the people battling security officers on the streets.
He said his insiders may be too frightened to bring this to his attention but he has decided to do the honours and tell him the 'truth'.
"Your enemy is the people around you...your enemy, the biggest of them all are Kenyans," he said.

Yuri's remarks came on a day the President broke his silence regarding the chaotic Wednesday protests which were characterised by looting and wanton destruction of private and public property.
While speaking in Tharaka Nithi, Ruto painted Raila as an enemy of the people and described him as a perennial loser who's been rejected even by God "sababu ako na kisirani".
He said Raila caused trouble for previous regimes including the Jubilee administration whose Big Four Agenda he derailed to pursue the BBI.
"Sasa ndio huyu amefika tena na mpango ya maandamano, kupiganisha watu, kutumia vijana kuharibu mali, ndio hiyo maafa imetokea ati ndio yeye aturudishe nyuma tusifanye mpango ya ajira ya hawa vijana," Ruto said.
Ruto said he will "kalia Raila ngumu" until he stops the mass protests and allow the government to execute its development agenda.
But Yuri told the President that his biggest enemies are the Kenyans he made promises to but hasn't yet delivered or looks like will not be delivered any time soon.
"They are going through so much and they cannot sit down and watch as you just do what you want or do what you like without listening to them," he said.
"At the moment, you can blame Raila Odinga for the nationwide civil disobedience, you can blame him for everything that you feel is right for you to blame him but soon enough you will be blaming yourself for not listening to Kenyans," he added.
