National Assembly Majority leader Kimani Ichung'wah has told off Azimio leader Raila Odinga over planned three-day protests beginning Wednesday.
According to Ichung'wah, Kenyans are tired and Raila should be ready for what is to come.
The Kikuyu MP insisted that blackmail will take the former Prime Minister nowhere and that there shall be no more stealing and destruction of property.
Ichung'wah's remarks on Twitter were in response to Raila's affirmation that the protests are still on.
The Opposition leader in a tweet on Monday evening said Kenyans should brace for game-changing demonstrations.
"Starting on Wednesday, be ready for the game-changing Maandamano," Raila said.
UMETUCHOSHA pia. You and your sponsor be ready too. Blackmail this time will take you NOWHERE. You shall have no more bloodshed and no more looting of our businesses. https://t.co/7uuN6AJ5oS

The Opposition has called on Kenyans from all walks of life to turn out in numbers and make a statement against President William Ruto's government.
The opposition is protesting against the high cost of living and high taxation by the Kenya Kwanza administration, brought about by the Finance Act, 2023.
The High Court suspended the implementation of the Act, which was the first under President William Ruto.
Leaders from all walks of life have been calling on Raila to stop the planned demonstrations and give dialogue a chance.
Some, including the clergy, have offered to mediate between the two leaders to ensure a lasting solution.
Despite this, diehards of the two leaders have reportedly maintained their stance that there will be no talks.
On Wednesday last week, the protests led to the destruction of property, theft, and loss of lives across different parts of the country.
Police and protesters engaged in running battles as teargas marked the order of the day.
At least nine people were reported dead with many others sustaining injuries.
Police also made at least 600 arrests across the country.
