President Williams Ruto has once again warned the Raila Odinga-led coalition against holding protests.
While in Isiolo, Ruto said that he will not allow the opposition to spoil Kenya through protests.
"Sisi tunaongea kama wakenya na Sauti Moja, tumeambia wapinzani wasiharibu nchi yetu kwa kutumia maandamano," he said.
This translates to: "We are speaking as Kenyans in one voice and we have told our opponents not to destroy Kenya by holding protests".
The President further said that the elections were over and the opposition should wait for the next elections to fight him.
"We want to tell our good friends that elections were over and Kenyans elected their leaders. Political wars are fought on the ballot, not in protests," Ruto added.
The president noted that he will not allow any death over an individual's political satisfaction.
The Head of State told the opposition to accept the August 2022 election results and move on.
"If you want another election, wait for the IEBC timetable on when the next general elections will be held. It's time for working," Ruto added.
Opposition chief Raila Odinga vowed to lead his supporters to the streets for three-day anti-government protests.
