Retired President Uhuru Kenyatta has told President William Ruto to deal with real issues facing Kenyans.

Speaking from Karen on Friday, Uhuru said that a government is elected to serve its people.

"You need to address the real issues facing Kenyans, not going on top of vehicles claiming things," he said.

Uhuru was reacting to claims that he is behind the financing of the ongoing anti-government protests.

The President said as much as he is not involved in the demos, Kenyans have a right to carry out their constitutional mandate.
