Ruto pledges Sh10m to Murang'a Boys school

Murang'a Boys high school has been handed a huge boost after President William Ruto pledged to give them Sh10 million.

Ruto said he had been ambushed that the schools had needs other than what he had come launch.

"Wazazi wa hapa Murang'a high school tumefanya kazi mingi pamoja na nyinyi . Nimepata orodha refu sana  ya mambo ambayo bado mnahitaji,"he said

"Lakini huyu Mwaura hakunipanga vizuri. Hakuniambia iko kazi tunkuja kufanya. Mimi niliambiwa tunakuja kufungua dining hall. Lakini kwa sababu nimefika , nitapanga huyu Machogu awaletee milioni kumi." 

The President was in the school to launch a new dining hall which will also serve as a multipurpose hall.

Ruto also promised to buy the school a new bus.

The President cracked the crowd when he said the bus was not to go to Muguiri Girl's High.

Ruto on Friday was in Murang'a county where he launched completed Wifi installations in Murang’a High School, Kenol market (Public Wifi), Mugeka market, and Mukuyu market.

He also launched Ikumbi-Karinga-Kinyona Road (Mau Mau Road Lot 2) and  Murang’a County Feeding Programme .

Ruto also inspected ongoing fibre-optic cable implementation at Murang’a University TVET, Kiharu TVET, Murang’a TTC and Michuki Technical.
