In the publication dated 4th July 2023 on the Star website and its social media platforms, we carried an article under the headline: "Kenya Airways Grounds Planes for Maintenance".

We had earlier mentioned therein that passengers intending to travel on Kenya Airways would have to wait till 6th July 2023 to do so due to the maintenance of all of Kenya Airways’ aircraft.

We immediately amended the article upon establishing that Kenya Airways’ flight operations had been affected by bad weather that led to diversions and turn-backs of flights, and the unscheduled technical maintenance of part of the airline’s fleet.

We, therefore, wish to apologize to Kenya Airways for any embarrassment or inconvenience that may have been caused by the earlier version of the publication and wish the airline all the best in its endeavours.
