President William Ruto on is currently attending a thanksgiving Church service in Taita Taveta.

The service is ongoing at Mwatunge grounds in Taita Taveta.

The President is accompanied by Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi and Kikuyu MP Kimani Ichung'wah among other leaders.

Area leaders are also present.

This week the President made a series of county tours in a bid to launch projects.

On Saturday, Ruto visited Kisii and Vihiga counties where he held meetings with leaders and later addressed residents.

Ruto issued development cheques to schools and women groups in South Mugirango, Kisii county.

Ruto said the government has a solid plan to make small and medium-sized enterprises grow and create more wealth for ordinary people.

During his tour in Vihiga, Ruto commissioned the last-mile connectivity cluster water supply project.

Ruto was accompanied by Water CS Alice Wahome, Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi, and Vihiga Governor Wilber Ottichilo among other leaders.
