Azimio La Umoja's leader has yet again hit out at the members of the international community over alleged silence on the deaths that occurred during the anti-government protests.
DAP-K leader Eugene Wamalwa questioned why the international community was quick to act on Uganda but kept mum on the killings that happened in Kenya.
"We are left wondering whether LGBTQ rights are more important than innocent Kenyans who are being massacred left right and centre," Eugene said.
Wamalwa was responding to the move by World Bank to deny Uganda funding for passing anti-LGBTQ laws.
He was among a host of leaders who attended the funeral of the victims of alleged police brutality in Vihiga County on Saturday where he made the remarks.
The funeral service was held at Esiandumba Primary in Luanda Sub-county.
"We are currently on the move to seek evidence against the government and we have strong lawyers on the ground to ensure our people get Justice," Wamalwa said.
Others present were ODM leader Raila Odinga, his spouse IDA, area governor Wilber Ottichilo, Former Kakamega governor Wycliffe Oparanya and Senator Godfrey Osotsi among many other leaders.
Wamalwa said over 70 people were killed allegedly by police during the anti-government protests.
