Embakasi MP Babu Owino will know his fate in a case in which he was charged with misusing his firearm in relation to the shooting of DJ Evolve in the Nairobi Kilimani area.

The court is expected to render its verdict today.

Businessman accused of defiling a minor set for sentencing 

At the Kibera Law Courts, a businessman accused of defiling a minor severally is set for sentencing this morning.

Vincent Ogada alias Jomba will be sentenced before Kibera Senior Resident Magistrate William Tulel.

He is said to have committed the offence on diverse dates between January and March 2022 in Silanga area, Kibera sub-county within Nairobi County.

US marines killed in Australia chopper crash named

Three US marines who were killed in a fiery helicopter crash during a military drill in Australia have been identified.

The MV-22B Osprey came down on a remote island north of Darwin on Sunday.

Captain Eleanor LeBeau, 29, Corporal Spencer Collart, 21, and Major Tobin Lewis, 37, were killed and the 20 other people on board - all US marines - were injured.
