Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has said that President William Ruto's priority is service delivery to Kenyans.
His remarks came after the President's tour of Nyeri County on Saturday where he commissioned several projects.
"The President's focus is service to the people," Gachagua said.
The DP said the commissioned roads will significantly improve mobility in the area and ensure ease of movement of goods and services.
"In Kieni constituency, the President launched the construction of 63km of link roads in the constituency. Among them are the vital Tagwa-Warazo Jet, Muriru-Burguret, Nyumba Ya Round-Mlima Kenya Secondary roads, among others," he said.
"On top of these will be another 370 km of roads in the county which are in the pipeline."
During the visit, President Ruto also opened the UDA Central region party office in Nyeri town.
He then proceeded to Kieni for the thanksgiving ceremony of Energy Principal Secretary Alex Wachira at Irigithathi Primary School.
Gachagua said the regional party office will help party members keep tabs on the implementation of their campaign promises.
"The office will ensure residents closely interact and monitor the implementation of the Bottom-Up Economic Transformation Agenda, the guide of the Kenya Kwanza government," he said.
The president was accompanied by senior UDA party officials, other elected leaders and some Cabinet members.
