At a cost of Sh8,600 Kenyans will now enjoy three weekly flights to Migori County using Skyward Express.
The flight will take at least 5o minutes.
Making the announcement, Transport CS Kipchumba Murkomen on Wednesday said that the schedule will simplify travel for Kenyans.
"The convenience of having three weekly flights to Migori, scheduled for Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, will greatly simplify travel," he said.
Speaking while flagging off the first flight, the CS noted that the accessibility by air will further solidify Migori's position as a hub for commerce, tourism, and innovation.
"Together, we are opening up new horizons for our county and region, facilitating business growth, and promoting the free flow of ideas and opportunities," Murkomen added.
The CS was speaking at Wilson Airport where he launched Skyward Express flights from Wilson Airport to Migori.
He was joined by Mama Ida Odinga, Kenya Airports Authority (KAA) Board Chairperson Caleb Kositany, National Assembly Majority Leader Kimani Ichung'wah, Migori Senator Eddy Oketch, EALA MP Hassan Omar among others.
