Some 38 per cent of Kenyans believe that President William Ruto’s government has fulfilled its campaign promises.

In a survey by Tifa, 38% of Kenyans say they believe Ruto’s government has done well in fulfilling its campaign pledges compared to 31% in June.

49% of those supporting the government believe that Ruto’s government has done well in fulfilling its campaign promises.

However, only 29% of respondents supporting the opposition believe he has kept his promise.

Also, 32% of respondents without political affiliation believe Ruto has kept his promise.

According to Tifa, 1,007 respondents were interviewed between September 8- 10, 2023.

The sample was spread across 9 zones including Central Rift, Coast, Lower Eastern, Mt Kenya, Nairobi, Northern, Nyanza, South Rift and Western.

The interview was conducted through telephone interviews with respondents whose contacts were collected through previous face-to-face.

+/- 3.1 % margin of error was recorded in the report.
