Quincy Timberlake, husband to former TV queen Esther Arunga has pleaded guilty to the manslaughter of his three-year-old son, Sinclair, at his Kallangur home north of Brisbane, in Australia.
Timberlake pleaded guilty on Tuesday after he entered into a plea agreement with the prosecution, for a lesser sentence.
His was scheduled to face trial at the Brisbane Supreme Court this week, but the trial was canceled following the decision.
Timberlake is now scheduled for sentencing on September 29.
Baby Sinclair tragically lost his life in 2014, despite the efforts of paramedics.
Timberlake then informed authorities that his son had suffered a fatal fall down the stairs.
However, his wife, Arunga later revealed to the police that her husband had physically assaulted the young boy by punching him in the stomach and throwing him against a wall.
Arunga was also convicted of being an accessory to the boy's manslaughter and for attempting to mislead the police regarding her husband's involvement.
The former Kenyan Presidential aspirant made known that he had caused the death of his son due to his conviction that the child was possessed by extra-terrestrial entities residing in his stomach.
During pre-trial discussions, it was revealed that Timberlake had been diagnosed with psychosis and schizophrenia.
