Lawyer Ahmednasir Abdullahi now says that he has nothing personal against Chief Justice Martha Koome.

Speaking on Monday, the lawyer said all he wants is for the Chief Justice to do her job as head of the judiciary.

"People think I have something personal against the CJ. I don't have. I just want her to do her work," Ahmednasir said on Spice FM.

Ahmednasir claimed current and former CJs have not been vocal enough in publicly condemning corruption in the Judiciary.

"If the Chief Justice gives a statement today and says corruption is endemic and we need to address it. I can assure you that corruption in the judiciary will drop by 60 per cent because they know there will be consequences," he said.

"The current CJ and former CJ did not issue a statement during their tenure to that effect and judges feel no one will come for them."

Ahmednasir has been an ardent critic of the judiciary.

He has in many instances used his X account to criticise the CJ, but at times also gives credit where it is due.

For instance, he recently credited the CJ for launching a High Court in the Northern part of Kenya
