Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua is expected to attend the funeral of the late freedom fighter Field Marshal Muthoni wa Kirima.
Kirima will be laid to rest at her home in Tetu, Nyeri County.
Other top leaders will also attend the funeral.
Muthoni passed on September 5 at the age of 92.
She was pronounced dead at a hospital in Pangani where she was rushed after moments after developing health complications.
Sean Cardovillis's memorial service to be held today
Family and friends will today hold a memorial service for late sports journalist Sean Cardovillis.
The service will take place at the Consolata Shrine in Westlands.
Cardovillis's body was cremated last Thursday in Kariokor at a private event.

AG Muturi to close the Nairobi Arbitration Week
Attorney General Justin Muturi will deliver a keynote speech during the closing of the Nairobi Arbitration Week at Radisson Blu Hotel, Upper Hill.
The event started on Monday and was launched by the Nairobi Centre for International Arbitration (NCIA).
In the course of the meeting, various speakers including Chief Justice Martha Koome, whose speech was delivered by Supreme Court Judge Smokin Wanjala, spoke on the topic, urging courts to take up pro-arbitration and pro-enforcement attitudes.
