Public Service, Performance and Delivery Management Cabinet Secretary Moses Kuria has said that he will put in all the efforts in his new ministry.

Kuria was on Wednesday moved from the Trade and Industry docket to the Public Service portfolio.

While reacting to the reshuffle, Kuria promised to make President William Ruto succeed in his manifesto.

In an apparent reference to a group of people he said were celebrating his exit from the Trade Ministry, Kuria said he will work hard in his new docket and disappoint them.

"They will say that I am too much. They will be asking for another reshuffle in six months' time. I promise you, because of the way I will streamline this ministry. I will move around this country to make sure the government of President William Ruto succeeds in the plans he promised Kenyans," he said.

"If you were disturbed with me having one ministry, how about now that I coordinate all the 22 ministries?"

Kuria was speaking on Thursday during the official launch of the Garissa County Aggregation and Industrial Park (CAIP).

It is the first industrial park in the northeastern region since independence.

Kuria said that Ruto was happy with his performance in trade and saw it fit to take him to Public Service.

He said that he is open to working in any cabinet even if it was the ministry of gender because he will still serve Kenyans.

"As you've all heard I'm the new CS for Public Service, Performance and Delivery Management after taking over from Aisha Jumwa who will now serve in the newly established Ministry of Gender, Culture, the Arts and Heritage. Even if I was asked to serve in that docket, I would work diligently."

In a communication dispatched by Head of Public Service Felix Koskei, EAC CS Rebecca Miano moved to the Trade and Industry docket to replace the former Gatundu South MP.

Water CS Alice Wahome swapped positions with Zachary Njeru of the Ministry of Lands, Public Works and Urban Development.

Foreign and Diaspora Affairs CS Alfred Mutua was redeployed to the Tourism and Wildlife docket while Public Service, Gender and Affirmative Action CS Aisha Jumwa has been moved to the Ministry of Gender, Culture, Arts and Heritage.

Peninah Malonza was transferred from the Tourism docket and assigned to the Ministry of East Africa Community, the ASALS and East Africa Development.
