Kenya Power has announced that there will be power interruptions in five counties on Wednesday.
In a statement on X, the power company said that counties including Nakuru, Nandi, Siaya, Kwale and Kisii will have power disruptions.
Kenya Power said the interruption will happen at diverse times of the day in different counties.
In Nakuru area, Kabarak Home Upper, Mangu, Aberdare, Mangu mastoo, Maraga residence, Ngata Kaptich, Kirobon AGC and Verovian will have power disruptions from 8.00 am to 5.00 pm.
Kapsabet Town, Baraton, KCC Lessos, Kapnyeberai, Kilibwoni, Arwos, Kapsabet Town, Kamobo, Kapkangani, Kaimosi, Koibarak, Chepterit, Mosoriot, Tulon, Itigo, Mutwot, Baraton, Kipchabo are among the Nandi areas to be affected.
Others are Kaptel, Talai, Kipsigak, Chemomi, Mugundoi, Kaptumo and Chepkongony. The areas will have power interruptions from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm.
In Siaya, areas to have power interruptions from 9.00 am to 2.00 pm include Rabango, Ulafu Nyalgunga, Umala, Nyamila, Bar Kodhiambo, Ngiya High School and Market, Nyagondo Market, Wagai Market, Kodelo and Akala Road.
Daraja Mbili, Embonga Hotel, Bongo Hosp, LEE Hotel, Kisii Junction Hotel, Nyamataro, Kiamwas, Nyakoe Hotel, Nyakoe Market, Keaoge Girls, Mosocho, Riotoigo, Matieko, Ongich Sec Sch, Ruga Market and Nyakoe Quarry in Kisii county will have power interruptions from 9.00 am to 4.00 pm.
Parts of Kwale that will have power interruptions include Msambweni Referral Hospital, Majoreni, Vanga, Lunga Lunga, Shimoni, Shimba Hills, Milalani, Kikoneni, Sawasawa Beach and Msambweni Beach from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm.
