A woman is to be arraigned at the Kibera Court on Tuesday for allegedly failing to pay for drinks and food at a city restaurant.

The woman allegedly accumulated a bill of Sh8000 at a restaurant in Langata within Nairobi County.

She is said to have committed the offence on October 16 this year.

Ex-Busia Governor Ojaamong's Sh8m graft case to proceed

The graft case of Sh8 million facing former Busia Governor Sospeter Ojamong proceeds today at the Milimani Law Courts.

Ojaamong his co-accused persons Bernard Aite, Leonard Wanda, Allan Omachari, Samwel Oseko, Edan Odoo, Renish Omullo, Sebastian Hallensben and Madam R Enterprises (MRE) were 2018 charged with conspiracy to commit an economic crime.

Ojaamong is separately charged with engaging in a project without prior planning and abuse of office.

Others are accused of wilfully failing to comply with the law relating to the management of funds.
