Deputy President Rigathi Gachagu has kept true to his fitness journey.

Even away from home, the DP is consistent in taking his morning signature walks.

On Saturday morning in the company of his wife Pastor Dorcas Rigathi, the couple took a morning walk at the Englischer Garten.

"A refreshing healthy morning walk at the Englischer Garten (English Garden) of the beautiful City of Munich in Germany is what my Spouse Pastor Dorcas Rigathi and I needed to kickstart a busy day of engagements," Gachagua said.

Fascinated by the scenery, the DP said that the garden is a fuse of various global cultures, whose iconic and majestic monuments stand tall surrounded by green leafy trees.

"The surfing on the Eisbach Waves, horse-riding, and the blend of other sports define the Garden as a spot of international recreation experience," he said.

Gachagua said it was not only a reinvigorating moment, but also time to reflect on the task ahead of rebuilding our great Nation.

The DP left the country on Monday evening for Belgium and Germany to attend the Global Gateway Forum.

Gachagua said that Kenya continues to seek new and strengthening existing partnerships for development and opening up new opportunities for the good of the country.

The DP is in the two countries to represent President William Ruto at a forum hosted by the European Commission in the Capital, Brussels.

Gachagua on Friday held talks with youthful investors in Germany.

The DP met Florian Kraus and Max Lenz, youthful investors in the horticulture subsector in Munich.

Gachagua said they discussed developing a roadmap for deepening investment in fruit farming and processing in Elgeyo Marakwet and Baringo Counties.

The DP said that Kenya continues to seek and enhance partnerships in Foreign Direct Investment as part of a strategy for rebuilding a strong and resilient economy.

"We appreciate the fruit investment in Baringo County already, but we want to do more.  This is a matter of interest to President William Ruto's Administration in diversifying agro-production, especially in the North Rift," he said.

Gachagua said that the government is creating an enabling environment by addressing various bottlenecks in bureaucratic processes to ease FDI.
