Panic has gripped senior officers in a county government in Western Kenya. Reason? The officers are worried of losing their jobs due to actions of a former governor whom they worked under before the new regime took over. The former governor has been telling whoever cares to listen how he still receives ‘secrets’ of the current administration. He claims that he receives almost real-time information about the current regime. The man brags that he has his ‘boys’ at the heart of the administration. His remarks have now reached the current governor who’s said to be planning to sack or transfer all senior officers who worked in the former administration.
