Poll: Ndindi Nyoro tops list of best performing young MPs

He was followed by Igembe South MP John Paul and Khwisero MP Christopher Aseka

Kiharu MP Ndindi Nyoro has been ranked as the top-performing youthful Member of Parliament.

This is according to a survey done by Infotrak.

Nyoro came first with a score of 70 per cent. He was followed by Igembe South MP John Paul and Khwisero MP Christopher Aseka with 66 per cent each.

Mumias East MP Peter Salasya came in fourth with 64 per cent and he was followed by MPs Naisula Lesuuda (Samburu West), Kimani Kuria ( Molo), Reuben Kiborek (Mogotio) with 63 per cent each.

Mukurweini MP John Kaguchia came in at number nine with 61 per cent followed by his Embakasi East counterpart Babu Owino with 60 per cent and Keiyo South MP came in at number ten with 59 per cent.

The survey dubbed CountyTrak was conducted between July - September 2023, covering all 47 counties, 290 constituencies and 1,450 wards with an overall sample of 58,748.

The first survey was conducted between July and August 2023 involving 36,200 participants.

"The second survey involving 22,500 participants was conducted to boost the sample size so that each subcounty had at least 200 respondents," Infotrak said.

Sampling frames were designed using population proportionate to size guided by census data and catered for demographics.

Data was collected through Computer Assisted Telephone Interviews.
