The Kenyan Embassy in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, has temporarily suspended passport processing.
In a statement, the Embassy said the exercise has been temporarily suspended until November 19, 2023.
The suspension, the embassy said, was due to the ongoing mobile consular services in the Kingdom.
''This is to notify all Kenyans in the Kingdom of Sudi Arabia that passport processing services at the Embassy, have been temporarily suspended until Sunday, November 19, 2023, due to the ongoing mobile consular services in the Kingdom,'' the Embassy said in a statement.
Mobile consular services involve diplomats providing assistance, such as visa processing and document notarization, beyond the embassy premises.

It is a diplomatic practice that aims to bring consulate services closer to citizens, ensuring increased accessibility and convenience.
In a statement on November 4, Principal Secretary for Diaspora Affairs, Roseline Njogu, declared that Kenyans residing in Saudi Arabia and Belgium would be provided with consular services.
This initiative is part of the Ministry's commitment to enhancing service delivery for the diaspora community.
''Mobile Consular Services heading your way! Kenyans in Belgium and Kenyans in Saudi Arabia,'' she said.
The ongoing consular services in Saudi Arabia have seen Kenyans receive various services including; passports, IDs and birth certificates.
''Kenyans in Riyadh received various consular services such as passports, IDs and birth certificates during the ongoing Mobile Consular Services at Kenyan Embassy in Riyadh,'' the Embassy stated.
