A man and a woman have been charged in Court for allegedly beating up another man at an apartment.
The court was not however told why Obadiah Murgor Kosgey and Cherono Ruto allegedly assaulted Moses Kiplagat Toroitich occasioning him bodily harm.
According to the charge sheet read in court, the accused persons allegedly committed the offense on October 11 at Nairobi Game Park Apartment in Langata Sub-County within Nairobi County.
They however denied the charges before Kibera Senior Principal Magistrate Jacqueline Kahuya and pleaded for a lenient bond terms.
They urged the court to supply them with all the witness statements and documentary evidence that the prosecution intended to rely on during the entire trial.
The Magistrate released them on Sh20,000 cash bail with the surety of the same amount.
The case will proceed later this month for a mention and further directions
