The Inspector General of Police and the Directorate of Criminal Investigations will today appear in court to shed light on the alleged abduction of Osman Khalif.
The two bosses will explain why Nairobi Governor Johnson Sakaja's aide Osman Khalif should not be released from captivity.
Justice Chacha Mwita on Friday, gave the alternative of Koome and Amin's most senior representatives to appear in court on that date if they will not show up themselves.
"I direct the IG or his most senior representative and the DCI or his senior-most representative to appear in court on November 20 at 10 am and show cause why Osman should not be released from captivity in compliance with court directions issued earlier,” Mwita said.
The directives were issued after Osman's wife through her legal representative said the motor vehicle involved in the alleged abduction is at a police station.
The mall along where the alleged abduction happened or its owners were also directed to supply the court, and Osman's wife with the CCTV footage of November 10 covering the events surrounding Osman's abduction and the movement of the subject motor vehicle.
The Judge also directed Safaricom to supply Osman's wife and her legal team with car parking records of the subject motor vehicle.
