A man has been charged with defiling his stepdaughter before a Kibera Court.
PM is said to have lured QR into his bedroom when the mother was away before committing the offense.
The accused person was charged before Kibera Chief Magistrate Ann Mwangi where he pleaded not guilty to the charges.
The court heard that the accused person committed the offence on November 21 in Kawangware Sokoni, within Nairobi County.
He was also charged with the second count of committing an indecent act with the child contrary to the law.
According to detectives, the accused person invited the minor to his house after luring her with gifts.
He defiled her and threatened to kill her if she revealed the ordeal to anyone.
The girl then went home. When asked by her mother where she was, she said that she was at the accused person's house and also revealed that she was defiled.
The matter was reported to the police and the accused person was arrested.
In court, he denied the charges and pleaded for a lenient bond term.
She said that the charges were fabricated and urged the court for leniency.
He was released on a Sh500,000 bond with the surety of the same amount.
The case will be mentioned on December 10 for Pre-trial
