This week, President William Ruto reconnected with a young environmentalistMutinda Mutuku at State House, Nairobi.
He met Mutinda during National Tree Growing Day at Kiu Wetlands in Makindu, Makueni County.
The President interacted with Mutinda as he showed him around the State House.
Floods render roads impassable
A section of roads in the country have been rendered impassable by the ongoing heavy El Nino rains.
Some roads were cut off and residents were forced to seek alternative routes.

The event held at the College of Insurance saw delegates, exhibitors, investor partners and innovators from various countries participate.
