It has been a few past days of sharing Christmas and President William Ruto's daughter Charlene has not been left behind.

On Monday, as millions across the world celebrated Christmas, Charlene decided to board random Matatu and handout vouchers.

In a video posted on her X (formerly Twitter) account, the first daughter, who was dressed in a Muslim regalia including an abaya and hijab, is seen boarding a pimped Matatu.

"For Christmas, we entered random Nganya (Matatu) to bless people with shopping vouchers," the video's caption reads.

Shortly after, she and a man accompanying her start handing out vouchers.

Charlene is heard expressing her awe over the high population of young people in the vehicles.

"So 70 per cent of the people in the Matatu are young. Tumepatana na students, watu wanahustle so we've recorded," she is saying.

She acknowledged that a number of youths are on the path to success, adding that she has enjoyed her day.
