Kapseret Member of Parliament Oscar Sudi surprised his first-born daughter Faith Chemutai with a car and a house in Nairobi.

Sudi gave his daughter pleasant gifts after she graduated with a Master’s Degree in Finance management from the University of Kent, in  Canterbury, United Kingdom.

A proud Sudi revealed how he pleaded with his daughter to focus on Education before thinking about relationships and marriage.

“I told her as my firstborn, if she listens to me, I will reward her abundantly. Because you are hardworking, have a job, you have respected me, if you were to tell me you have found a suitor, I am ready.

"I will also give you keys to your own house in Nairobi. I promised to give you a good foundation to start your life. I already bought you a car so I will give you an apartment and now you can walk your path,” Oscar Sudi said.

The legislator also went down memory lane to share little-known details about his daughter who had just graduated.

"It has been an arduous journey for my daughter Faith Chemutai throughout her academic life. She just graduated with a Master's Degree in Finance Management from the University of Kent, Canterbury, United Kingdom.

"Today we celebrate her success story at home, Kapseret,” Sudi said during a thanksgiving ceremony held at his home in honour of his daughter.

During his speech, Sudi mentioned that his daughter has already secured a job – giving her the go-ahead to consider a relationship.

"I told her 'make sure you study, and if you meet a boyfriend, don’t let him con you'. She has kept her word, and I am very happy," a proud Sudi shared.

Sudi also asked eligible bachelors to make sure she doesn't find a suitor from London.

“So when you come next time and tell me you have a boyfriend, I wouldn’t have a problem with that. I will support you 100%. And I also want your other siblings to follow in your footsteps.

"I have not done this event (thanksgiving) just because people do it, No. I have done it because of the respect this girl has accorded me and I will also support you 100 per cent because you follow my instructions,” Oscar Sudi added.
