A video clip circulating on social media platforms of a flooded health facility is not of The Nairobi Hospital.
The clip started resurfacing a few days after a heavy downpour was experienced in various parts of Nairobi city.
The Nairobi Hospital, in a statement dated January 6, dismissed it saying "There is no such a scenario in our facilities".
"This is to bring to the attention of our stakeholders and the public of a video showing a flooded health facility circulating on various digital platforms being implied to be a scene at The Nairobi Hospital," it states.
"Any purported association of the video with the hospital is false and misleading," it adds.
James Nyamongo, the Hospital's chief executive officer said all its operations are running smoothly despite the rains that pounded the city on January 5.
Nyamongo noted that services at the main hospital, departments, including the outpatient centers are operating as usual.
"We appreciate the support we continue to receive from our clients and stakeholders as we provide quality healthcare to our patients," Nyamongo said.
In the one-minute and 39-second clip, staff are seen wading through the flooded corridors and offices of a health facility with beds having been submerged.
An ambulance is also parked outside the flooded casualty area.
