KPLC: 10 counties to experience power interruptions Wednesday

The utility firm said the interruptions will occur at diverse times of the day.

Kenya Power has announced that 10 counties are set to experience power interruptions on Wednesday.

The utility firm said the interruptions will occur at diverse times of the day.

Counties to be affected include Nairobi, Machakos, Kajiado, Nakuru, Siaya, Vihiga, Kisumu, Nyeri, Kirinyaga and Kiambu.

In Nairobi, areas to have power interruptions from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm include Huruma, part of Juja Rd, Moi Forces Academy, Huruma Flats, Niss Petrol Station, Part of Mathare North Rd, Metameta Rd, Mundika Hospital, Mbuthia, Huruma Ngei 2, Casanova and adjacent customers.

Others are Mbagathi Road, Sunshine Secondary School, AMREF, Nairobi West Prisons, Telkom, Wilson Airport, Riara University, Canaan Estate, KMTC, Part of KNH, KNH Staff Quarters, Kenyatta Market, Magiwa Estate, Highview Estate, Mbagathi Hospital, Komarock Phase 1, Komarock East, Kayole Spring Valley, Kayole Junction, Kayole Total Petrol Station and adjacent customers.

Saj Ceramics, Oriental Godowns and adjacent customers in Machakos will have power interruptions from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm.

Parts of Kajiado County to have power interruptions from 8.00 am to 5.00 pm include Naresho Kenchic, Pipeline Road, Techno Steel, Ashanti, Kongoni, Inkiito, Jamii Bora, Kajiado, Musa Primary School, PJ Dave, Fred's Ranch, Kimalat, KAG, Lucky Base, Sucos, Imara Steel, Isinya Rural, Isinya Feeds, Isinya Town, Ramoda and adjacent customers.

Part of Kampi ya Moto, Phyllis Wambui Memorial, Rafiki Center, Kabarak Moi Primary and East Gate Kabarak in Nakuru will have power interruptions from 9.00 am to 3.00 pm.

Areas to have power interruptions from 9.00 am to 2.00 pm in Siaya include Boro Market, Hawinga, Sidundo, Uasi, Nyalaji, Nyachinya, Mbaga Girls, Nyakado, Rasugu, Kochieng and adjacent customers.

Cheptulu Market, Musasa Mkt, Shaviringa, Mahudu, Musunji, Shiru Health Center, Sigongo, Kaptech, Siekuti, Kamulembe and Makuchi in Vihiga will experience power interruptions from 8.30 am to 5.00 pm.

Parts of Kisumu to experience power interruptions from 9.00 am to 3.00 pm include Wildor School, Kalusi Centre, Aloo Gumbi Sch, Nyamonge Sch, Chiga Market, Rweya, Kasese Centre, Obumba School and Masawa Village.

Mweiga, Amboni, Endarasha, Kanyagia, Solio Lodge, Charity, Gitegi, Kula Mawe, Embaringo, Mwireri, Bondeni, Sangare, Kabati, Giraffe Ark, Kamatongu, The Ark Hotel and Kimenju Farm in Nyeri will experience power interruptions from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm.

Parts of Kirinyaga to have power interruptions from 8.30 am to 1.30 pm include Tebere Concrete, Isacco, Galaxy Kaminji, Wachoro, Makutano Mkt, CMI, Rukanga AP, Wanjuguma, Rukanga, Rukanga Dispensary, Meved Dairy, Kobil, Shell, Riandira Market, Ngothi, Rapids Camp, Rukanga Safcom Booster, Thanju Primary, Kwa V Market, Jungleman, HCDA Deport and  Sagana.

Wataalam, Githunguri Ranch, Whole of Membley Est, Gitambaya, Nyayo Hostel KU Kiwanja, Low Rates, Githunguri Pri, Membley PCEA, Membley High Sch, Rorex, Full Gospel and Peak Academy in Kiambu will have power interruptions from 8.30 am to 5.00 pm.
