Use knowledge acquired to develop Kenya, Mudavadi tells Diaspora citizens

Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi has called on Kenyans in the Diaspora to use their knowledge and expertise to develop Kenya.

Speaking during a meeting with the group in Tokyo, Japan, Mudavadi said that the knowledge acquired abroad can be used to build Kenya in many different ways.

The Prime CS encouraged Kenyans living in Japan to continue investing in their mother country, for its continued growth and development.

Mudavadi who is also the Foreign Affairs CS in his address reaffirmed the Kenya Kwanza administration's commitment to supporting the Diaspora community in their endeavours, both abroad and in Kenya.

He emphasized the crucial role that remittances from the Diaspora have played in enabling the administration to achieve key milestones in its development agenda, under the leadership of President William Ruto.

Mudavadi is among the Cabinet Secretaries who accompanied Ruto and First Lady Rachel Ruto for the four-day Official visit to Japan.

Others include CSs Kipchumba Murkomen (Transport), Davis Chirchir (Energy), Rebecca Miano (Trade), and Principal Secretaries Roseline Njogu (Diaspora Affairs), Sing'oei Korir (Foreign Affairs).

Some of the President's advisors are part of the delegation.

The Kenyan delegation which is being led by Ruto in Tokyo witnessed the signing of an MoU between the National Treasury and Nippon Export and Investment Insurance on Thursday.

On Wednesday, the President witnessed the signing of Kenya and Toyota Tsusho Corporation of Japan framework agreement for collaboration in vehicle manufacturing and renewable energy development.

During the visit, Ruto will also engage in a series of bilateral meetings with the Japanese top leadership.
