Most parts of the country will experience light showers on Sunday afternoon, February 25, the weatherman has said.
A report by the Kenya Meteorological Department (Met) said there will be a chance of showers in the morning, along the Coastal region being Mombasa, Tana River, Kilifi, Lamu and Kwale Counties.
The afternoon will be characterised by showers over a few places in the region, but their night will remain partly cloudy.
The temperatures will range from 25 degrees Celsius to 35 degrees Celsius.
There will be a chance of showers in the afternoon over a few places along the Highlands of West of the Rift Valley, the Lake Victoria Basin, and the Rift Valley.
This includes Siaya, Kisumu, Homabay, Migori, Kisii, Nyamira, Trans Nzoia, Baringo, Uasin Gishu, Elgeyo-Marakwet, Nandi, Nakuru, Narok, Kericho, Bomet, Kakamega, Vihiga, Bungoma, Busia and West Pokot Counties.
Their morning will have sunny intervals with partly cloudy nights in the same areas.
According to Met, the temperatures will range from a minimum of 11 degrees Celsius to a maximum of 34 degrees Celsius.
In the highlands East of the Rift Valley including Nyandarua, Laikipia, Nyeri, Kirinyaga, Murang'a, Kiambu, Meru, Embu, Tharaka and Nairobi Counties, the weather is expected to be cloudy breaking into sunny intervals during the morning.
In the afternoon, the places are expected to experience showers, but the night will remain partly cloudy.
Kenyans in those parts will have to deal with eight degrees Celsius temperatures with a high of 32 degrees Celsius.
Along the Southeastern lowlands (Kitui, Makueni, Machakos, Kajiado and Taita Taveta Counties), their morning will have sunny intervals, with a chance of showers in the afternoon and partly cloudy night.
The temperatures will have a low of 14 degrees Celsius and a high of 36 degrees Celsius.
North-western (Turkana and Samburu Counties) will hardly have any showers as their morning and afternoon will be characterised by sunny intervals with a partly cloudy night.
The temperatures will range from 13 degrees Celsius to 38 degrees Celsius.
The same will be the case for North-eastern region including Marsabit, Mandera, Wajir, Garissa and Isiolo Counties.
The temperatures will range from 17 degrees Celsius to 38 degrees Celsius.
