God will get you through! Amina Abdi's message to DJ Joe Mfalme

TV and Radio presenter Amina Abdi Rabar has asserted that she believes Joseph Mwenda popularly known as DJ Joe Mfalme is one of the kindest and most hardworking people.

This is after DJ Joe was arrested and arraigned alongside six others in connection with the alleged assault of Kabete police station detective Felix Kelian.

Amina through her TikTok shared a video of her and the DJ with a written template on it.

"People know you. God will get you through. This too shall pass my brother," she said.

The TV presenter then captioned the TikTok video saying she identifies DJ Joe as a true gentleman.

"I have known Joe my entire career.  He is an absolute professional who takes his work very seriously. A true gentleman. A religious and kind man who takes care of so many people," the caption read in part.

"Praying for you my brother."

The popular DJ and his co-accused were on Monday arraigned at the Kibera Law Courts.

The police however want Joe Mfalme and the six others detained for 21 days pending further probe.

The prosecution told the court that they needed 21 days to gather sufficient evidence before preferring any charges against the suspects.

This will include recording relevant witness statements, obtaining treatment records from the hospital, obtaining CCTV footage of the crime scene, call data records of the seven and arrest of another suspect who is still at large.

The police told Kibera Principal Magistrate Margret Murage that preliminary investigations have revealed the deceased was involved in a slight non-injury accident while driving his car along Kikuyu road.
