Opposition leader Raila Odinga to chair ODM Central Management Committee meeting over elections and succession.
The party's national chairman John Mbaid said they will discuss whether they will hold the elections in April as earlier planned.
The meeting will come only a day after President William Ruto chaired a UDA national steering committee where grassroot elections were the main agenda.
Ruto foreign tour
President William Ruto will today begin his three-day to West Africa with meetings in Ghana.
Ruto is expected to hold bilateral talks with his host President Nana Akufo-Addo aimed at strengthening trade, diplomatic and historical ties.
He will also tour the Africa Continental Free Trade Area headquarters and address the Ghana-Kenya Business Forum before jetting out for an official visit to Guinea Bissau where he is scheduled to hold bilateral talks with President Umaro Sissoco Embalo.
He is accompanied by First Lady Mama Rachel Ruto and Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi.
IG Koome Baringo tour
Inspector General of Police Japhet Koome will today spend his second day in Baringo county to assess the security situation.
On Tuesday, Koome said up to 100 weapons have been recovered in the past months of operation.
Detectives hunt down for murder convict
Police alongside prison officers are today expected to intensify the hunt for a murder convict who went missing from Manyani Maximum Prisons.
The convict identified as Samuel Njule Maghanga, 28 had been convicted of murder and was serving 30 years jail term.
The incident happened on Monday April 2, officials said.
Officials at the facility said they found him missing during a headcount operation at about 7 am.
It is not clear at what stage he escaped and how.
Doctors' strike
Parties to submit to court progress report on talks to end doctors' strike. Justice Byram Ongaya to issue directions on the matter.
Ongaya had given the parties two more weeks to conclude the discussions.
When they last appeared in court, the state said it had already given its counter-proposals and parties were engaging to find a lasting solution.
Education stakeholders' meet
Education Principal Secretary Belio Kipsang will officiate a stakeholder’s engagement on Senior School and Teacher Education.
The meeting will be at KICD.
The stakeholders will discuss among other issues, the senior school curriculum and the kind of teacher education for those who will steer the senior school system under the auspices of the ongoing education reforms.
Border management meet
Immigration Principal Secretary Julius Bitok is expected to address the stakeholders participating in the National Border Management Conference.
The three-day which started Tuesday is held at Kempinski Hotel in Nairobi.
