Former Murang'a Governor Mwangi Wa Iria has presented himself at the EACC police station for statement recording and fingerprint taking about the ongoing probe into allegations of graft.
Also present are his co-accused persons.
The former governor is later expected to be arraigned and charged.
Justice Nixon Sifuna on Monday directed that the former county chief, Jane Waigwe Kani and Solomon Kimani cooperate with EACC and DPP and present themselves for fingerprint taking and statement recording.
"In the intervening period between now and tomorrow they shall not be arrested. They shall have their advocates escort them to the EACC," said the Judge.
The high court in Murang'a had issued temporary orders stopping their charging in court.
But those orders were vacated by Muranga Presiding Judge James Wakiaga who subsequently transferred the matter to the Nairobi High Court Anti-corruption Division for further directions.
