Detectives are investigating the cause of the death of a 28-year-old man whose body was discovered in his house in the Umoja Two area, Nairobi.
The body of Joseph Wafula was found in his house after he went missing for three days. His body was found on Wednesday, May 8.
His relatives went to check on him and found his house locked from inside prompting them to seek the help of authorities to know more.
Police arrived there and broke into the house and found his body lying on the bed.
The body had no visible injuries at the time of the discovery.
Police moved the body to the mortuary pending autopsy and other investigations.
And in Thigio village, Limuru, the body of a 74-year-old man was found in a house after a suspected murder.
Police said the body of Edward Mburu Waweru was lying with legs tied with aluminium wire.
His mouth had been covered with a red piece of cloth, an indication that the deceased might have been suffocated.
There were signs of a struggle inside his house. The body was moved to Tigoni Hospital Morgue awaiting autopsy.
No arrest has been made and police said they are investigating the motive of the murder.
Elsewhere in Kayole, the body of one Jesse Kimonye, 20 was found in his house after a suspected suicide.
The body was discovered Wednesday evening long after the man had died.
The body was found dangling from the rafters of his single room.
The police visited the scene and established the same and the body was dangling on a chain with no visible injury or suicide note recovered.
The motive of the incident is yet to be known.
