The Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission will today launch and release to the public the Annual Report of its activities for the Financial Year (FY) 2022/2023.
The Report details the Commission's activities and milestones.
This includes the corruption reports received, investigations undertaken, cases recommended to the Director of Public Prosecutions and cases completed in court.
The launch will be held at EACC Headquarters, Integrity Centre at 9 am.
It will be presided over by the Commission Chairperson David Oginde and CEO Twalib Mbarak.
Mbarak will at the same time address other contemporary issues in the fight against corruption.
Ruto to swear in 20 High Court Judges
President William Ruto will preside over the swearing-in of 20 persons recommended to be Judges of the High Court by JSC.
This comes days after the President appointed them.
The ceremony will take place on Tuesday morning at Statehouse, Nairobi.
Still, on taking the oath of office, Omwanza Ombati will be sworn in as a Member of the Judicial Service Commission at the Supreme Court building at 11 am.
Omwanza replaces Macharia Njeru whose term has expired.
ODM to flag off relief food for persons affected by floods
The ODM leadership will flag off lorry loads of relief food donated by Kenyans to various parts of the country affected by the devastating floods.
The event will be held at Chungwa House at 9:30 am.
This will be the first consignment of donations under the ODM Disaster Response Committee, which was formed as part of their response to the current national flooding crisis.
India High Commissioner to donate relief food for flood victims
The High Commissioner of India will hand over relief material for flood victims at Embakasi Military Hangar at 4 pm today.
The flight carrying relief items from India is expected to land in the afternoon.
Karua to give an address in regards to the effects of floods
NARC- Kenya leader Martha Karua will today address the media at Mathare Social Justice Center at 11:30 am.
This is in solidarity with flood victims petitioning the government to do more in its relief response to Kenyans who have lost their livelihoods.
CS Bore to lead intervention for flood victims in Nairobi
Labour CS Florence Bore will lead an emergency intervention for children and families affected by floods in Hazina sub-location at 2 pm at the Railway Training Institute (RTI) Ground-Nairobi County.
Teachers' unions to appear before MPs
The Teachers Service Commission (TSC), Kenya Union of Special Needs Education Teachers (KUSNET) have been summoned by MPs.
This is over issues with the registration of teachers with disabilities.
They will appear before the MPS at 11 am at the Bunge Tower building.
