ICT and Digital Economy CS Eliud Owalo has mourned his late brother.
Taking to his X account on Wednesday, the CS wished him a safe journey to the beyond.
"Fare thee well Jack," he said.
Jackson Nyunja Owalo,65, passed away on May 27, 2024.
He was the son to the late Nomiya Church Archbishop Most Rev Gideon Charles Owalo and the late Mama Eudiah Perez Owalo
Nyunja was the eldest son in the family.
He was brother to the late Emma Owalo, Jane Owalo, George Samwel Otiri Owalo and Ben Owalo, Patriciah Owalo-Ragot, Edward Peter Owalo, Eliud Okech Owalo and Martin Omolo Owalo among others.
Nyunja was uncle to Elizabeth Alila Ochaye, Dr Rowena Peace, Ferdinand, Ralph, Emanuel and Joy Owalo among others.
He was the brother-in-law to Phanice Ouma Owalo and Jacqueline Muga-Owalo among others.
His body lies at the Aga Khan Hospital Mortuary in Kisumu.
The cortège will be removed from Aga Khan Hospital Mortuary on Saturday, June 1, 2024, at 2 pm for an overnight stay at their Gangu Village Home in Asembo.
Nomiya Church under the leadership of Cardinal Archbishop Moses Okech will preside over the burial service and ceremony on Sunday, June 2, 2024, at the family's Gangu Village home in Asembo starting 9 am.
The family has not released the information on the cause of death.
