President William Ruto on Thursday took charge of the steering wheel of a bus he was delivering in Meru.
President Ruto was driving the bus which was delivered to Mitunguu Technical Training Institute.
Among his passengers, were his Deputy Rigathi Gachagua and Interior CS Kithure Kindiki.
The video shows President Ruto personally driving the bus with his deputy and CS Kindiki among other government officials and students of the institute riding as passengers.
Ruto is in Meru County for a tour a working tour.
The President had on Monday held a meeting with political leaders from Meru county ahead of his visit to the county.
The meeting was held at the State House in Nairobi.
The talks centered on national government programmes in the county.
The DP who spoke briefly at Mitunguu Technical Training Institute in South Imenti, said the region loves the President and supports his agenda.
The DP further affirmed that Mount Kenya region is 'solidly' behind his boss William Ruto during his tour of Meru County.
"Our duty is to support our president so that he can initiate development projects across the country, we are happy here in Meru County because the president we voted for continues to visit us,'' Gachagua said.
The DP who was ushered to the podium by the President, said the whole region loves the head of state and is happy with his development.
"Don't we love the President? Aren't we happy that he has come here in Meru to launch projects?'' Gachagua posed as he addressed the students and a section of the public at the institute.
The DP also gave a cash donation to the students saying after the President handed a brand new bus, he needed to throw a bash for the students too.
