Hundreds of youths have taken to the streets of Nakuru to protest against the Finance Bill, 2024.

The group first gathered at Nakuru Railways Station, the heart of the City, before they marched to the central business district to protest.

The groups were carrying placards and twigs which they waved as they thronged the Kenyatta Avenue chanting ant-Finance Bill protests.

Another group made a peaceful match from Stage 140 in Nakuru Town West in the same style and is set to join their colleagues in Nakuru Town East later in the day.

A contingent of armed police officers were deployed in strategic areas in the youngest city in Kenya and were keenly monitoring the protests.
