Service provider Safaricom has rescheduled the system maintenance that was to happen on Sunday from 11 pm to 4 am on Monday.
In a statement on Sunday, Safaricom said it had taken into consideration the feedback received after announcing the now-rescheduled maintenance.
"We hear you, and we value your feedback. The scheduled system maintenance later this evening has been rescheduled to a later date to allow you to enjoy a worry-free M-PESA on this sport-packed evening," it said.
The service provider had announced the maintenance "to meet our promise to always offer worry-free superior customer experiences".
Access to lipa na M-PESA, paybill and buy goods services, international money Transfers (Western Union), M-PESA Global, as well as M-PESA App and my Safaricom App were to be available intermittently.
"All other services including calls, data, SMS and all other M-PESA services will be available as usual," Safaricom said.
The Euro Finals will take place at 10pm, between Spain vs England.
