President William Ruto will on Sunday make a return to Bomet today for a church service.

Ruto will be in Sotik for the official opening and dedication of the newly completed Chebango AGC church at Kapletundo ward.

Governor Hillary Barchok will play host to Ruto, alongside other prominent leaders from the region.

Also in attendance will be the newly nominated Roads Cabinet Secretary Davis Chirchir who actively supported the construction of the church.

This visit holds particular significance as Ruto's last trip to the county was in March this year.

During that visit, he launched several key development initiatives, including road upgrades and an affordable housing project.

Today's event is expected to draw attention not only for its religious importance but also due to the political situation in the country.

It comes just a few days after he named half of his cabinet to help drive his agenda.
