Full list of Ruto’s final Cabinet nominees

Only Attorney General and East African Community and ASAL CS nominee remain pending.

  • • The President had on Friday last week named the first batch of the nominees including the Attorney General nominee.
  • • On Tuesday, however, Ruto made adjustments moving Duale to the Environment Docket and Tuya to the Defence ministry.

President William Ruto on Wednesday made public his final list of nominees for the positions of Cabinet nominees.

The nomination comes weeks after the President sacked his entire cabinet save from Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi.

The final list includes;

  1. 1. National Treasury - John Mbadi
  2. 2. Youth Affairs, Creative Economy and Sports - Kipchumba Murkomen
  3. 3. Cooperatives and MSME Development - Wycliffe Oparanya
  4. 4. Gender, Culture, Arts and Heritage - Stella Soi Langa't 
  5. 5. Tourism and Wildlife - Rebecca Miano
  6. 6. Energy and Petroleum - Opiyo Wandayi
  7. 7. Public Service - Justin Muturi
  8. 8. Investments, Trade and Industry - Salim Mvurya
  9. 9. Labour and Social Protection - Alfred Mutua
  10. 10. Mining and Blue Economy - Hassan Joho 
  11. 11. Ministry of the Interior and National Administration - Kithure Kindiki 
  12. 12.Ministry of Health - Debra Mulongo Barasa 
  13. 13. Ministry of Environment, Climate Change and Forestry- Aden Duale 
  14. 14. Ministry of Roads and Transport - Davis Chirchir 
  15. 15. Ministry of Defence - Soipan Tuya 
  16. 16. Ministry of Water, Sanitation and Irrigation - Eric Muga

Ruto, however, did not name the Attorney General and East African Community and ASAL nominees.

On July 11, Ruto dissolved his Cabinet, sending home all Cabinet Secretaries and Attorney General.
